Ayodhya airport takes off by January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched 46 projects estimated to cost `15,700 crore in Ayodhya and inaugurated Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and Ayodhya Dham railway station Junction has been renovated.

 Mr.Modi, during his day-long visit to the city, initiated capacity enhancement of Amethi Refinery, doubling four sections of Jaunpur-Ayodhya -Barabanki railway line project, doubling and electrification of Malhaur-Daliganj railway section, Ram Path (from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat), Bhakti Path (from Ayodhya main road to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi via Hanuman Garhi) and Dharma Path (from national highway 27 to old Naya Ghat bridge) .

 Addressing the public near the airport, the Prime Minister said the world is waiting for the consecration of Ram temple on January 22 and no stone will be left unturned for the development of this holy place.

 "The world is waiting for January 22.I am also looking forward to Pran Pratishtha Day at Ram Mandir,” the Prime Minister said.

 Mr Modi also launched six new Vande Bharat trains on Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bengaluru, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal, Mangaluru-Madgaon and Jalna-Mumbai and two Amrit trains Bharat on Darbhanga -Routes -Ayodhya-Anand Vihar and Malda Town-Sir M.Visvesvaraya (Bengaluru) On his return to the airport, the Prime Minister visited Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, where an impressive 40-meter long veena was installed feet and weighs 14 tons.
